Obituary of Scamp Seymour

Dearest Scamp, here you are telling me to get out of bed and let’s get this day started because there is so much to see and so much to do out there.  You were my spirit and you were my soul and you gave every day meaning and purpose.  You were my buddy and my companion and my protector.  You were everything to me.  And in our quiet moments together, you always wanting to be sitting in my lap and me always wanting you to be sitting there too, I never felt alone or lonely as long as you were near.  I know that God has a purpose for everything and maybe one day I will understand why you were taken so suddenly away from me.  But now every happy moment we have had together is matched by grief and bewilderment at how life can sometimes be so cruel.  Thank you for all the love and companionship you have given me.  I love you so much.
